Lauren Hampton: Keeper of the Stars...and the children...and...SERIOUSLY?!
Lauren has been a friend of ours for quite some time. She wandered into our store one day with Holly and scrapped for a few hours. One look at her darling layouts and we were convinced that she needed to be a part of our IAT family. She was hired that day and has been a welcomed addition to our family. Lauren is probably one of the most over-qualified Kids Class teachers…She has the most beautiful creations that any mother would love...but you see...her audience is only 5 years and above...these are not typical "kids pages"...they are so detailed and so beautiful to capture a memory to forever last... The children LOVE the techniques and the materials with which she allows them to play...Foster a child's creativity and imagination every day...that is for sure what Lauren would say. The children all return month after month to see what kind of a mess they get to conjure up. Lauren is a mother of three and a brownie troop leader...she is married to a Firefighter...so she can multi-task better than dam building beaver...God love her for that and for all that she does...and for her husband's bravery that he shows every day...the safety we feel that's just a phone call away...thanks to those courageous women and men...that put out the fires one by one...and for HER strength to handle each and every day...such a strong woman to know that she wouldn't have it any other way...Can they be any cuter? Could there be any more to say?????

That is all Lauren...it's her alone...each one a beauty..each one on it's own. For not only does she pay attention to every detail...she comes through with a masterpiece...every time...without fail.
Her latest creation: The Donna Downey Masterpiece...is for sure going to be scrapbookings next "big release"..well maybe not...that's going to far...but it's worth a Starbucks...so go get the car... Here's to you our Sweet Lauren a Venti Vanilla Latte, Six Pump, no foam...in fact...make that two...I can't let you drink alone...We are thankful for her artistry and exceptional taste..in tv shows like non other than Grey's...Anyone who loves that show as much as me...has got to own a coffee mug that says "SERIOUSLY"...
I hope that you all get a chance to know how amazing Lauren is and before you go...Take a moment to see what she will be teaching next...even adults can learn a thing or two...when watching the children experience art...there is no greater joy in a scrapbooker's heart...Our next generation of historians we see on a mission to remember and preserve that memory...Lauren, a teacher, an employee, A FRIEND...let them remember....let them create....Let them come here and have a play date. Call ahead to reserve your space...they fill up quickly...there's no time to waste. You may even see Lauren shopping in the store...she is an addict like the rest of us...need I say more? Lauren doesn't get alot of time at the store...She's mostly there to cover a shift or teach her class...and most of the time she is coming and going so fast... But God Love her spirit and her busy busy life...she so obviously loves the job of being a mother and wife...she wears her badge proud and she wears it well...and if she is crazy...we will never tell...because our vision is tainted with rose-colored glasses...for she is the wind in our It's About Time...Masses.
